Blue Tie junior Nina Doody recently shared her experience
serving as a page for Senator Marko
Liias. "I was first
intrigued to apply for the page program when I saw an email from the Upper
School for Girls’ Dean, Annie Green. She had
sent a email with a little bit of information about it, and after my own
research I applied. I was accepted into the program and had a chance to
personally thank Senator Liias as well as serve a variety of duties for him
during the week. The experience has taught me valuable knowledge about the
legislative process and has encouraged me to become more active in my
